The apartment was comfortable and fairly clean, near to sightseeing and restaurants. The room was huge and reasonably spacious, with useful amenities like a fridge, electric kettle, and dishwasher. The staff were informative and great, making for a wonderful 4-night stay.

Excellent and clean apartment where you can find anything you need - extremely comfy bed, beautiful bathroom, central heating, TV set and a microwave oven etc. Would come here again, had a fine stay of 4 nights.

I had an excellent stay at the accommodation in Lake Tekapo. The apartment was like a home away from home, with a lovely outlook and plenty of room. The place was clean, and it had all the necessary amenities, including convenient washing facilities. I appreciated having our own private garage with direct access into the apartment. The owners were welcoming and friendly, providing us with great local knowledge. The deck offered stunning views of the lake and surrounding area, and I even managed to capture beautiful sunrise photos. I wish I could have stayed longer, as it was truly one of the best places I have stayed at. The large apartment had two well-separated bedrooms, both with comfortable beds and great views. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, and the living room also overlooked the lake. The attached garage had a washer and dryer, which was very convenient. I highly recommend this accommodation for a wonderful stay in Lake Tekapo.

Had a very good overnight stay here during Christmas. The apartment was pretty much a new build and we were only the 3rd set of people staying. The kitchen was modern and had all the mod cons, including a dishwasher. The location was ideal and offered super views of the surroundings.

That the apartments were not soundproof. We could hear our neighbors showering, using the toilet, and even their doors banging.

The hosts Kathy and Ivan were super hospitable and gave us great recommendations for restaurants. The apartment itself was clean, warm, and comfortable. We even had access to a garage, which was a nice bonus. our stay at Mackenzie Apartments was fantastic and we would definitely stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at the Mackenzie Apartments! The value for money was unbeatable and the room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The location was perfect, within walking distance to shops and restaurants, and the staff treated me like family.

The hotel breakfast menu could use a little more variety.

The decoration at The Mackenzie Apartments is absolutely lovely, especially the beautiful oak and leather furniture. It adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the entire place. The general areas of the hotel are also very well-maintained and clean, making it a pleasure to spend time in. As a senior woman, I also appreciate how accessible the hotel is for people of our age. There are ramps and elevators available, making it easy for us to move around without any difficulty.

I would have loved to see more activities or programs specifically tailored for senior people during my stay. Maybe some gentle exercise classes or organized tours that cater to our needs and interests.

Spacious and comfortable beds, with a great gas fire. Exceptionally clean with a lovely balcony and view. The hostess was very helpful with local information. The easy wifi and takeaway meal options were a bonus.

The shower occasionally ran hot and cold, and there was some noise from the apartment above. a minor inconvenience, but worth mentioning.
